If necessary, the surface should be cleaned using mechanical methods such as milling, scraping, or sandblasting. Reservation voids such as feed nozzles, bottom strainer surrounds, and pool lighting fixture sockets must be repaired. If necessary, a leveling screed should be applied to achieve a smooth surface. The preparation process is the same for tiles of all sizes. What Should Be Considered in Pool Waterproofing? After completing the repair work on the pool waterproofing, any dust, dirt, cement residue, or other adhesion- inhibiting formations remaining on the surface must be cleaned.
