Modern Pool Transformation at Darka Social Facilities Describing the beginning of the pool renovation process at Darka Social Facilities, Anıl Yaman, Construction Engineer and Project Manager at H20 Pool Systems, emphasized the facility’s long history and natural structure, explaining the process as follows: “Darka is a holiday resort with a long history, intertwined with the nature of Iznik. Its proximity to Istanbul and its tranquility have made it an indispensable address for the residents of the site. The swimming pool was put into service in the 1980s and has undergone medium-scale renovations from time to time, but the infrastructure built at that time has never been changed inside the pool. The social facility management, aware of the situation, decided that it was time for a major renovation. Following this decision, our paths crossed with Halil Emecan, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and other residents. When the large-scale renovation began, we were in agreement about achieving a more modern look for the pool and its surroundings.
