• All existing pipes are subjected to pressure testing. • Defective or worn-out pipes are replaced immediately. Compliance with TSE standards and correct measurement are of great importance at this stage. Electrical System: • Pool light cables are signal tested and their currents are measured. The integrity of the cables is directly determined; rotten or worn cables are replaced without exception. Old cables are often stiff and immovable, so new cables are carefully laid under the plaster. Since replacing cables in a pool is a difficult process, the old cable installation cannot be trusted. All lighting fixtures and cables and cable sheaths used must be manufactured for use in pools. In electrical panels: • A ground fault circuit interrupter and external grounding are mandatory. • The panel must be designed to be resistant to moisture and water. • Ventilation must be present in the mechanical room for the safety of the entire system. If there are any issues with the pipes or cables, insulation and coating applications cannot proceed until these issues are completely resolved.
